New Plexus Networking Radio from
SOIL MOISTURE MONITORING EQUIPMENT VICTORIA
an operation of msas enterprises
Developed by Measurement Engineering Australia, the Plexus system consists of a number of field stations connected wirelessly to a central hub which transmits data to a dedicated web site from which it can be retrieved as required.
We have installed many of these systems over a wide range of applications such as vineyards, sporting venues, turf farms and extractive industry sites.
We can advise you on how this system might be appropriate to your needs
Plexus is a mesh networking radio network comprised of a number of individual field stations with their own power supply capable of taking regular soil moisture measurements and transmitting them back over long distances to a central hub. Each Plexus field station has its own solar panel and Lithium ion battery. Data is recovered remotely via a secure web site.
All field stations and hubs are mounted on 1 metre poles attached to trellis posts so that they are above canopy height.
Plexus installations are suited to larger scale horticultural enterprises, particularly those where web data access can reduce travel time and cost.
Soil Moisture Monitoring Victoria has also installed a number of Plexus systems at major sporting venues, allowing ground managers to deliver quality playing surfaces while being able to achieve maximum efficiency in water usage.
We can advise about location options at your property and assist with installation and programming.
